Subsidiary Pace Group invested in Danish car tech startup to streamline car purchasing.

Intelligent charging solutions for vehicles find new home with Denmark's leading energy company

In June 2023, Heymate invested in Zapp Mobility, a company developing intelligent charging solutions for vehicles. Following the investment, co-founder Janus Broch Mols relocated to Heymate's office. Over the subsequent eighteen months, the team expanded existing operations and launched Zapp Energy, described as Denmark's premier electricity company. Zapp established itself as a pioneer in its field, achieving a significant position among Denmark's largest operators despite limited funding and a short timeframe. The sale to NRGI represents what we view as an ideal partnership to continue growth and strengthen the company's team. We acknowledge Eric and Janus from Zapp, Daniel Østergaard for his work on behalf of the company, and Simon Kammer for his contributions to optimizing Zapp's digital marketing efforts. This transaction marks Heymate's sixth exit.
